1. Quick Release Lever

• Operator can release the drive system at the flick of a lever. Drive will no longer open the chute and the existing manual gate opener can be used.
• Chute can be closed quickly if needed.
• Chute cannot be opened by remote when quick release lever is disengaged. Should transmitter be activated accidentally when driving down the road the chute will not open.
• You may not always want or need to operate the chute with the electric drive. You can always use manual control when the transmitter is not handy or in the unlikely event the drive or electronics malfunction. (example: when unloading at a grain elevator. This feature will also extend the service life of the drive.)

2. Heavy Duty Actuator

• Heavy-duty industrial 12 VDC actuator is used to open each chute.
• Actuator motor and gear case are designed to lift 545 Kilograms (1200 lbs.)
• Built in clutch preset to slip at 230 Kilograms (500 lbs.) of lift. Should chute become stuck actuator will slip rather than burn out motor or break gear components. This insures many years of dependable service and provides the power needed to open any chute.

3. Manual Electric Switches 

• Manual electric switches at the back of the truck allow control of the Chute and/or hoist without remote control if needed.

4. Universal Installation

• System is designed to be easily installed on any grain truck with minimum modification.
• The system is also designed to keep the existing manual chute opener usuable at all times, by using the quick release lever.

5. System Comes Complete - each unit includes:
